New Skatepark in Long Beach, New York
With the lack of parks around Long Island, it’s awesome to finally see some new skateparks get built. This one is located in Long Beach, New York. The photos above show the complete design of the new park. Personally, I think it could have been designed a little better but they discussed the design at town meetings, none which I attended so I can’t complain. Construction has begun but there isn’t any word when it will be completed.

Torro! Skateboards x New York Winter Wonderland
“The “New York Winter Wonderland” was a temporary skate park built by local skateboarders inside of a 15,000 square foot privately owned warehouse space in Long Island City (LIC) Queens, NY. Thanks to our buddy Ben Beasley, who built most of the obstacles in the facility, the TORRO! crew had a lot of fun skating through the rough winter season. Here’s a glimpse of our sessions. Enjoy!
